How to Withdraw Money from Coinbase Pro?
Coinbase Pro is no longer available as a standalone trading platform. It has been replaced by Coinbase Advanced, and former Coinbase Pro customers can use their existing Coinbase login details. After balances are migrated, withdrawals cannot be made through the old Coinbase Pro account. Instead, users must withdraw money through their main Coinbase account.
Before withdrawing money, sign in to Coinbase and review your available cash and cryptocurrency balances. Former Coinbase Pro funds should have been transferred to the main Coinbase platform.
If funds are held inside a separate Coinbase Advanced portfolio, you may need to move them to your Primary Portfolio before withdrawing. Coinbase states that funds cannot currently be withdrawn directly from additional portfolios
You generally need an available cash balance before transferring money to a bank account. If your balance is held in Bitcoin, Ethereum, or another cryptocurrency, sell the required amount first.
To sell cryptocurrency:
Selling cryptocurrency to the Coinbase cash balance is generally instant, although deposited funds or recently purchased assets may remain temporarily unavailable for withdrawal.
After creating an available cash balance, follow these steps:
These steps are based on Coinbase’s current cash-withdrawal instructions. Available buttons and payment methods may differ by country.
You can also complete a cash withdrawal through the Coinbase mobile application:
Always check the receiving bank information carefully before authorizing the transaction.
Withdrawing cryptocurrency is different from cashing out to a bank. If you want to transfer crypto to another exchange or personal wallet, use Coinbase’s Send feature.
Select the asset and network, enter the recipient’s wallet address, specify the amount, and review the transaction before confirming it. The receiving wallet must support both the asset and the selected blockchain network. Sending funds through an incorrect network or to an incorrect address could permanently result in loss. Cryptocurrency transactions are generally irreversible and may include network fees.
Consider sending a small test amount before making a large transfer.
A withdrawal may be delayed or unavailable for several reasons:
The displayed available balance represents the amount that can presently be withdrawn, which may differ from the total portfolio value.
Withdrawal fees and arrival times depend on the customer’s location, currency, payment method, and selected network. Coinbase displays the estimated charges before confirmation. Review this information carefully because bank transfers, instant cash-outs, card withdrawals, and cryptocurrency transfers may have different costs and processing periods.
Because Coinbase Pro has been replaced by Coinbase Advanced, users should manage their funds through the current Coinbase platform. Sell cryptocurrency if necessary, confirm that the cash is available, select Withdraw Cash, and transfer it to a supported bank account. For cryptocurrency withdrawals, double-check the wallet address, asset, and network. Never share your password, two-factor authentication code, or recovery phrase with anyone.
